Desktop Audio PreAmplifierThe Aria stereo desktop audio preamplifier for high performance 2 channel audio and PC use with tube preamplifier soundincluding balanced stereo outputs to drive quality powered monitor loudspeakers or power-amp balanced inputsAvailable soon - preliminary specification subject to change The Graham Slee Aria desktop audio preamplifier is an active line stage preamp in miniature with a small footprint for desktop use. It's not only for the desktop. It's a complete 2 channel audio (stereo) control preamp - a line stage having the all-out high performance and features the discerning listener demands. It features active balanced stereo outputs on TRS jacks to drive a power amplifier or powered monitor loudspeakers including professional powered monitors. It will drive your power amp or powered monitors better than a passive preamplifier and it can drive long interconnects too! Two rear panel phono/RCA jack stereo inputs cater for regular analogue audio music sources whilst two front panel stereo mini-jacks can be used for recording music to a PC sound card, and for playback of analogue output from your PC (after the DAC). In effect, these front mounted mini-jacks are tape-output and tape-input connectors that can even be used for high quality tape recordings - in fact they can be used with almost any analogue audio recording equipment as well as in conjunction with ADCs (analogue to digital converter) and DACs. Two input selector switches cater for source selection and recording output selection. Being relay switched there is minimal crosstalk between sources. Select the input you want to record and use the input selector to switch between source and your recorders output - it functions the same as a tape monitor switch. As a bonus there's a stereo balance control instead of just a volume control, plus there's bass and treble tone controls and a tone-defeat switch. The Aria desktop audio pre-amplifier is not only a discrete transistor design, but using our innovative Ultra-Linear technology, it will sound more like a valve/tube preamplifier. Yes, tube preamplifier sound with the longevity of solid state electronics and space saving desktop proportions. Housed to match our low profile phono preamplifiers and headphone amps its size is only 107mm (4.2 inches) wide x 50mm (2 inches) high x 185mm (7.3 inches) deep (approx.) High quality balanced cables can be supplied to connect the TRS jacks to your powered monitor speakers or power amplifier. Also mini-jack to phono/RCA jack interconnects available too - see our cables section for further details.
